Wife: You know how people are picking a word for 2024?
Husband: No, I don’t know about that.
Wife: It’s like picking a word that you step into for a year.
Husband: Okay I understand that.
Wife: I decided I was not picking a word, but I am going to pick a skill to learn for the year.
Husband: Oh cool 😎 what skill are you learning?
Wife: I am going to learn how to be charismatic!
Husband: laughs.
Wife: I know I am kind of boring, and when I say that people always say I am not boring, but I don’t see it.
Husband: Look you hang out with some pretty loud and attention kind of people like your son and like me. You think you are boring compared to the people you are around. But you are around some very charismatic people, so you don’t see what level you are except “boring” around those you hang out with.
Wife: Wow 🤩 that is the best way to describe it. Because when I say I am boring people tell me all the time that I am not but compared to the people I hang out with I am quite muted. 😂
Husband: Oh, I have a challenge for you with this!
Wife: Seriously? You are not coaching me; you can’t challenge me.
Husband: Wait you haven’t heard the challenge.
Wife: Seriously 😳 what?
Husband: Preach a sermon at a church! That could be your test for your skill of charisma.
Wife: I already have a talk that could be a sermon. I would have to find a church that would allow me to do that.
Husband: It doesn’t have to be a big church. I would say at least 20 people. But that could be your test.
Wife: I already speak in front of people. Not sure how it would be a test for charisma to preach a sermon.
