He’s A Keeper

By Kimberley Borgens

Working in the back yard this morning. After about 2 hours of me trimming and cutting and cleaning my husband looked at me and asked…

Husband: Did you eat anything yet today?

Wife: Thinking a moment đź’ Nope just got busy back here.

Husband: Then we are wrapping it up and you are going to get something to eat.

Wife: Why did you ask me that?

Husband: Because I noticed you were dragging a bit.

Wife: Huh, Okay – Thinking 🤔 to myself – It is almost noon anyway and the green waste can is full. I can stop, I guess.

Ever notice that sometimes people notice things physically in you that you might not notice yet yourself. I was thinking I was getting tired from all the work, and he noticed this is what happens when I wait too long to eat.

He’s a keeper.
